Curriculumbits.com is a wonderful resource offering free online access to interactive multimedia elearning resources. The online resource library contains games, quizzes, animations and videos in a variety of subjects for students aged 11 to 16. The resources are available to access online, completely free of charge in the library (they no longer offer the option to download resources). Simply click the PLAY button. You do not need to register to access the resources. After previewing resources I would suggest you bookmark the resource you want to use in your classroom. Many of these resources will work well on the SMART Board. ENJOY!

For those of you who don’t know, SMART Technologies offers FREE weekly online trainings. In their own words, “SMART online training sessions are 35 to 75 minute computer and telephone conferences that offer a quick, no-cost overview of the basics of working with SMART products. Each session is led by a SMART trainer who uses SMART products every day. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions.” This is a great opportunity- ENJOY!

PBSteachers over on Twitter just shared a great new SMART Board resource from PBS Kids. In their own words, “Students will enjoy participating in these collaborative, fun and engaging experiences, while exploring curriculum from trusted programs such as Curious George, Super Why and Arthur. Like our programs, all of our games are age-appropriate and vetted by educators.” The majority of games are for PreK-2 grade, but there are some that are appropriate for grades 3-5 and 6-8. The subject areas in collection include Language Arts, Social Science, The Arts, and Math. ENJOY!

I just learned that the “For Dummies” series has added a book titled “SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards for Dummies” by John Wiley & Sons. This book was designed to enhance “SMART Boarders” experiences with this amazing technology product. According to the press release:
