I decided that it might be helpful if I listed all of the interactive websites that I use regularly in my classroom in one place. I will add to this list from time to time as I find more websites.

LittleFingers Games-Prek-3 educational games
Spin and Spell- Fun spelling game that imitates Wheel of Fortune- does incorporate pictures for students who need that support and has audio support.
BBC- Intercative Body- Interactive Body games- skeleton, organs, musces, etc
Sesame Street Walk the Dogs Math Game- Cute, elementary interactive game for counting 1-10.
Primary Games/Simon Says- Great interactive games to use with SMARTBoard- following directions, eye/hand coordination, cause/affect.
Count Us In- Games designed to help students understand basic number concepts.
Clifford the Big Red Dog/Scholastic- Interactive Storybooks, phonics fun, games, and stories for early readers. Can also be read n Spanish.
Colors In Motion- A fun, creative, out of the box kind of website teaching, reinforcing colors.Very visual and awesome to watch on the SMARTBoard.
Math 5 Live- Great interactive site addressing various math skills- number, patterns & relations, shape & space, statistics & probability. I like the fact that one of the characters is non-ambulatory, using a wheelchair.
Math 6 Spy Guys- Very cool interactive site for Grade 6 Math. Addresses lessons, strategies, operaions and glossary- al very informative and nicely presented.
Math 3 Under the Sea- Great interactive site for basic math skills on the elementary level.
Houghton Mifflin Science- Discover! Simulations - Grade 1-6 Interactive activities covering a variety of topics.
Children’s University of Manchester -Interactive, online learning for key stage 2 from The University of Manchester. Choose a subject from the menu.
Science Up Close – From Harcourt Publishing Company- great interactive science activities/lessons for grades 1-6 on various topics. Includes lots of videos.
Julia’s Rainbow Corner-A nice website filled with interactive activities and games of basic concepts- numbers 1-10, colors, letter recognition, poem videos, etc. Most are interactive and work well with the SMART Board.
Jefferson Lab – GREAT MS & HS science activities- check out the interactive periodic table- VERY cool!
GSK Active Science- a range of interactive science games/activities for ages 5-16, with audio.
FossWeb- Interactive science activities grades K-8.
Starter of the Day- fun way to start a math lesson- click on the date in the calendar to view a math challenge for that day.
Darwin’s Footsteps- Pupils follow Darwin’s voyage of discovery around the world in this interactive game. For students ages 7-11.
Word Magnets- letter recognition, spelling, etc. Very motivating and fun- students move “magnets” on the SMARTBoard to achieve lesson objective.
Shedd Aquarium-has some terrific K-12 information, lesson plans and interactive activities regarding aquatic science.
The Rain Deer Orchestra- a great motivating site for number recognition 1-10 because it incorporates music!!
Starfall- an oldie but goodie!! A wonderful variety of activites at the PreK-2 grade level.
