I wanted to share this interactive spelling bee site to help students in grades 1-12 practice their spelling skills. Students in grades 1-8 will be given the opportunity to listen to three stories, one at a time. Each story will have empty text boxes where students will need to type (spell) the correct words. Students in high school will listen to separate sentences and then type (spell) the missing words in the text boxes. If students need help they can click in the box to hear the word again or click on the question mark next to the text box to get a hint in the form of a brief definition. Results are calculated at the end. You could use this activity with the SMARTBoard, using the Onboard keyboard. ENJOY!
